2010 Ryde SOUTH Little League Team ANNOUNCEMENT

Following completion of tryouts, Ryde Hornsby is pleased to announce the Ryde South team for 2010 Little League season .....
Ryde South Little League team - playing as Ryde Falcons has announced a team of 13 players plus another 2 players as reserves in case of injury / unavailablity.

Congratulations to each of the above players.
It should also be noted that players who registered to tryout for the team and missed out on final selection were of a very high calibre. The selection panel of Jerry Cobb and Matt O'Neill were more than impressed by the efforts and skill shown by all trialists. It is very evident that Ryde South has a very strong talent pool this season and it was not any easy task in getting down to the final 13 team players + 2 reserves.
First training session will be held on Sun 7 Mar at Magdala from 0930-1200hrs .... with a team BBQ lunch after training!
A full training schedule & practice games along with the announcement of assistant coaches, junior coaches and an executive officer will be released over the next week.
Once again, thank you to all for your participation in this process .... much appreciated!

Revised draws for remainder on 2009-2010 season
RHBL Competition Committee, Monday, 1 February 2010The draws have been published using the Competition software and are now organised by Team. Using the Competition software the draws are now published by Team. Access via this news item until we are able to update the Current Season/Draws menu.
There is a technical problem that is preventing this at this stage.
The Team schedule is the official draw and must be followed.

Under 16 NSW State Team
Connor Hawthorne (Stealers), Michiya Nagai (Stealers), Eric Lockwood (Stealers), Dean Aldridge (North Ryde), Keiran McCluskey (Stealers) & Rick Schwarz (Greenway) have been selected to play for NSW in the Under 16 Australian Baseball Championships to be held in Geelong, VIC in early January 2010.
